Guaranteed Admission and Chancellor’s Scholarship

We realize that many students are on waiting lists to get into a nursing program. To help alleviate student anxiety, we have expanded our program here at West Suburban College to accommodate more Nursing and Health Informatics and Information Management students to our programs.
New applicants to West Suburban College for Nursing or Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM); may qualify for guaranteed admission, as space allows for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. Depending on your qualifications you may also qualify for the Chancellor’s Scholarship.

The Chancellor’s scholarship is awarded annually until the funds for the year are exhausted or everyone who meets the qualifications has received an award for the academic year, whichever comes first. You do not have to apply for this scholarship. It is awarded at the beginning of an academic year to qualified students who are enrolled full-time. Final scholarship award amounts may vary by semester. Future awards will be adjusted accordingly with the student’s cumulative GPA earned at West Suburban College.
